Hi, I am Paul Pidou

Work as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer on the European project "COMMUTE". This project aims to test a public / private collaborative management system of urban mobility with all the actors of the aeronautics platform of Toulouse.

Part-time teacher for the Advanced Master ValDom which is co-accredited by INP-ENSEEIHT and INSA Toulouse. This advanced master focuses on the processing and the valorization of massive data, favoring a multidisciplinary approach in computer science and data science and combining scientific and operational learning through project-based learning and strong involvement of partner companies.

Within the P3 Digilab I mainly worked on Data Science and Machine Learning projects for Airbus.

Research Engineer in Data Science, I advised the Principality of Monaco as part of its Smart City project. My main task was to design a Data Platform able to centralize all the information generated by the city's services. The architecture I developed is based on modular blocks which take advantage of the Apache foundation softwares such as Kafka, Spark and Solr in order to handle a huge amount data at a fast pace.

EURECOM is part of the Institut Mines-Télécom school group, and is a founding member of the SophiaTech Campus in Sophia Antipolis, the largest Science and Technology Information campus in France. EURECOM is also a member of the Secured Communication Solutions (SCS) competitiveness cluster.
